Psalm 19:7-9
The revelation of GOD is whole
and pulls our lives together.
The signposts of GOD are clear
and point out the right road.
The life-maps of GOD are right,
showing the way to joy.
The directions of GOD are plain
and easy on the eyes.
GOD’s reputation is twenty-four-carat gold,
with a lifetime guarantee.
The decisions of GOD are accurate
down to the nth degree. (MSG)

How’s your God-confidence?

There’s a reason for his reputation. He clearly shows us his way which he wants us to follow as our way. Why would we walk in any way that leads us away from him? “Thar be dragons.”

Wholeness is found in his self-declaration. He reintegrates our disintegrated lives. He shows us the way we should go, clearly pointing out the path and the sights we dare not miss. His way leads us into joy, joy as a daily reality, joy as a set disposition.

God writes legibly and clearly. He doesn’t make us squint at fine print. You can trust God from the bottom of your heart. You will never be disappointed when you do. He never makes mistakes.

Today is a good day to go God’s way. So is every day called Today.

I will go God’s way, the only way worth going.

Our Father, thank you for the clarity you provide for the purpose you lead us into. We can trust your leadership, your wisdom, and your joy. Lead us into today’s adventure. Amen.

They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.” Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray.
