Jeremiah 9:12-14 Who is the person wise enough to understand this? Who has the LORD spoken to, that he may explain it? Why is the land destroyed and scorched like a wilderness, so no one can pass through? The LORD said, “It is because they abandoned my instruction, which I set before them, and did not obey my voice or walk according to it.

Jeremiah 1:9 Then the Lord reached out his hand, touched my mouth, and told me: “I have now filled your mouth with my words.”

Psalm 12:7, 8
You, Lord, will guard us;
you will protect us from this generation forever.
The wicked prowl all around,
and what is worthless is exalted by the human race.

Psalm 11:7 For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds. The upright will see his face.
