Jeremiah 9:23, 24
This is what the LORD says:
“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich boast of their riches,
but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,” declares the Lord.” (NIV)

How do you delight the heart of God?

Delight yourself in what he delights himself in.

Delight yourself in exercising kindness, justice, and righteousness.

This delights the heart of God.

Enrich your life and bless your world today with this pleasant understanding.

I will delight myself in kindness, justice, and righteousness.

Our Father, build your kindness, justice, and righteousness into my life. May it overflow into the lives of others. May others learn how to delight themselves in you and in these pre-eminent character qualities that stream from your heart to ours. Amen.

2 Chronicles 31:20, 21 In this way, King Hezekiah handled the distribution throughout all Judah, doing what was pleasing and good in the sight of the LORD his God. In all that he did in the service of the Temple of God and in his efforts to follow God’s laws and commands, Hezekiah sought his God wholeheartedly. As a result, he was very successful.

Daily D – 2 Chronicles 26:5

2 Chronicles 26:5 Uzziah sought God during the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God. And as long as the king sought guidance from the Lord, God gave him success.

Daily D – 2 Chronicles 24:22

2 Chronicles 24:22 King Joash did not remember the kindness Zechariah’s father Jehoiada had shown him but killed his son, who said as he lay dying, “May the Lord see this and call you to account.”
