Jeremiah 17:7, 8
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” (NIV)

God-confidence will take you far. It will make you sure when others doubt. It will make you hopeful when others worry. It will make you joyful when others complain. It will keep you calm when others are terrified. It will keep you strong when others are discouraged.

Trusting God firmly plants us in the soil of His choosing with the endless refreshment of His mercy and grace.

He keeps us cool when the heat is on.

He produces fruit even when it appears to be out of season.

To live a blessed life, trust God. Trust God early and late, first and last.

Trust Him in the morning, trust Him at noon, trust Him in the evening.

Trust him when things get hard. Trust him when things sail smoothly.

Trust him now for all that’s ahead today.

Trust our perfectly trustworthy God.

I will live a God-confident life.

Our Father, thank you that you are perfectly trustworthy. Thank you that I can trust you when things are good and when things are bad. Thank you that I can trust you when the sun shines and when the rain falls. Thank you that I can trust you when the wind blows and when it’s still. Thank you that I can trust you in every moment, every relationship, and every activity under heaven. Amen.

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Daily D – John 7:50-51

John 7:50, 51 Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus earlier and who was one of their own number, asked, “Does our law condemn a man without first hearing him to find out what he has been doing?”

Daily D – John 6:15

John 6:15 Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.
