Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do. HEBREWS 13:18 (NLT)

_____________________________________________________________________________

Pray for us. We have no doubts about what we are doing or why, but it’s hard going and we need your prayers. All we care about is living well before God.
The Message

Here’s a prayer to pray. Ask God to empower you to live with a clear conscience and honorable activity in all things at all times.

The author of this text, in current leadership language, knew his Why? Knowing his Why led him into his What, How, and When. The most productive and effective living he had ever done came after he discovered his Why.

Everyone asks Why at one time or another, or repeatedly. Few stop to listen long enough to get an answer. Many people are afraid of the answer. Others simply reject the answer and look for an alternative Why.

What’s your Why? Why are you here? Why are you still here?

Until I die, or until Jesus comes, I want to live with a clear conscience. I want to honor God and serve others in all I do. Life is so much simpler when live focused lives with ever-shorter lists of problems to unwind.

Pray for me that I will live with a clear conscience. Pray that I will honor God and serve others always. I will pray the same for you.

I will keep my conscience clear and my agenda filled with God-honoring service.

Our Father, empower us to live life without regret. Empower us to do the right thing the right way at the right time for the right reason. Empower us to quickly make amends when we fail. Empower us to know and experience you and to help others do the same. Amen.

Daily D – Psalm 92:12-15

Psalm 92:12-15
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
planted in the house of the LORD,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
proclaiming, “The LORD is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Daily D – Matthew 20:29-31

Matthew 20:29-31 As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, son of David, have mercy on us!” The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, son of David, have mercy on us!”
