Exodus 3:11, 12
“But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.” (NIV)

Knowing your “why” means discovering your core purpose, values, and the meaningful reason behind your actions, which serves as a compass for decisions, provides motivation, and creates fulfillment, often found through introspection, reflecting on meaningful life moments, and understanding what truly drives you beyond the “what” (the tasks) or “how” (the methods). It’s about connecting with what truly inspires you to live and work, giving clarity and resilience. — Simon Sinek

Why? God commands it.

Why? God empowers it.

Why? God is with us. He never leaves us or forsakes us. He will be with us until the end of the world.

That’s why.

What is your specific Why? Why on earth are you here? What will be better because you lived?

My why can be communicated with two words: Maximizing Dreams. I help people live better lives than they dreamed possible.

I provide mentoring, coaching, and training to help people understand God’s dreams and plans for them. (See Ephesians 2:10.) I help them know and experience God in a deep and abiding relationship. I help them connect with his eternal purpose for all people. I help them understand and apply God’s mission for their lives.

Moses had a clear mission. After forty years of privilege to begin his life, and forty years of hiding in the middle of his life, there came the last forty years of his life where he became the man God always knew he would be. There’s never been another like him. He was God’s unique and chosen leader for that time and place.

We live in increasingly perilous times. How does God want to use you as an instrument of his grace and peace? How does he want you to help others understand his perfect love and limitless mercy?

Clarifying your call from God leads to the greatest of adventures. It empowers you to live a life in time that may well impact all time. God has a specific role for you where you live, work, and play. Learn it, embrace it, and become salt and light, bringing flavor and clarity to everyone you meet.

I will live the mission God has called and equipped me for confident that he will be with me to provide for me and to empower me.

Our Father, I want to live your purpose for my life. I want to be the man you always dreamed I would be. Use me as an instrument of your grace and peace. Bless me that I may be a blessing to everyone I relate to and serve. Empower me to help others gain clarity regarding your purpose for their lives. Thank you for the high privilege of knowing and experiencing you in this time and place. Amen.

Daily D – Luke 1:76-79

Luke 1:76-79 And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High;
for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him,
to give his people the knowledge of salvation

Daily D – John 20:24-28

John 20:24-28 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Daily D – John 18:10-11

John 18:10, 11 Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

Daily D – John 13:3-5

John 13:3-5 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
