Romans 8:26-28
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (NLT)

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. (MSG)

What God wants for us is better than anything we want for ourselves.

What the Spirit of God within us prays for us is perfectly aligned and attuned with God our Father’s heart.

Holy Spirit can do more with our wordless sighs and aching groans than our finest poetry and neatest calligraphy.

Holy Spirit repeatedly drives us into our Father in Heaven’s presence, peace, and purpose.

Holy Spirit knows us better than we know ourselves.

Holy Spirit makes the puzzle pieces fit together, revealing the beautiful picture that was there all along.

Holy Spirit empowers our Father’s purpose.

Ponder these truths. Embrace what this makes possible. Live every moment in the full confidence of these realities.

I will live confidently in the reality of the truths of God’s grace, mercy, love, and kindness.

Our Father, you really do have a wonderful plan for our lives, don’t you? You really do love us without limits. Life is not meaningless. Each of us has a place and purpose in your providence. You offer us heaven on earth. Deliver us from temptations to settle for dust and ashes. Amen.
