Jeremiah 23:5, 6 “Look, the days are coming” —this is the LORD’s declaration—when I will raise up a Righteous Branch for David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land. In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is the name he will be called: The LORD is Our Righteousness.

Isaiah 66:1, 2 This is what the LORD says: Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool. Where could you possibly build a house for me? And where would my resting place be? My hand made all these things, and so they all came into being. This is the LORD’s declaration. Isaiah 60:1, 19, 20 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD shines over you. The sun will no longer be your light by day, and the brightness of the moon will not shine on you. The LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor. Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not fade; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will be over. (CSB)

Isaiah 56:7, 8 “I will bring them to my holy mountain and let them rejoice in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on my altar, for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” This is the declaration of the LORD GOD, who gathers the dispersed of Israel: “I will gather to them still others besides those already gathered.”

Matthew 21:12, 13 Jesus went into the temple and threw out all those buying and selling. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves. He said to them, “It is written, my house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of thieves!” (CSB)
