Daily D – Psalm 82:1-4
Psalm 82:1-4
God stands in the divine assembly;
he pronounces judgment among the gods:
“How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked?
Provide justice for the needy and the fatherless;
uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.
Rescue the poor and needy;
save them from the power of the wicked.” (CSB)
Daily D – Psalm 70:1-5
Psalm 70:1-5 For the choir director. Of David. To bring remembrance.
God, hurry to rescue me.
LORD, hurry to help me!
Let those who seek to kill me
be disgraced and confounded;
let those who wish me harm
be turned back and humiliated.
Let those who say, “Aha, aha!”
retreat because of their shame.
Let all who see you rejoice and be glad in you;
let those who love your salvation
continually say, “God is great!”
I am oppressed and needy;
hurry to me, God.
You are my help and my deliverer;
LORD, do not delay. (CSB)
