Daily D – Luke 10:41-42
Luke 10:41, 42 But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details!” There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”
Daily D – Jeremiah 18:1-6
Jeremiah 18:1-6 The Lord gave another message to Jeremiah. He said, “Go down to the potter’s shop, and I will speak to you there.” So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over. Then the Lord gave me this message: “O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.”
Daily D – Jeremiah 17:7-8
Jeremiah 17:7, 8 “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.”
Daily D – Jeremiah 10:23-24
Jeremiah 10:23, 24 “I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course. So correct me, Lord, but please be gentle. Do not correct me in anger, for I would die.”
Daily D – Jeremiah 6:16
Jeremiah 6:16 This is what the Lord says: “Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’
