Isaiah 49:15, 16
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.” (NIV)

To God, you are unforgettable.

This truth is so much better than a song.

Jesus didn’t get a tattoo with your name. Instead, he received engraving on his hands.

“For the joy set before him,” Hebrews 12:2 tells us, “he endured the cross.”

When we look at those nail-scarred hands, we experience grief. When he looks at them, he experiences joy. He endured the cross so that we could be with him forever.

When he was on the cross, we were on his mind.

God knows your name. He knows all about you. He loves you with an everlasting love. He relentlessly and lovingly draws you to himself. His compassion is endless. His tender love for you overflows.

Here is a verse worth committing to memory. Here is a truth to build your life on.

I will receive God’s compassionate care, and I will pass it along to those who have yet to receive it.

Our Father, you truly love us with an everlasting love. You have nothing left to prove. You have withheld nothing in your mission to express your love to us. Give us each the good sense to say Yes to this most wonderful offer. Amen.

Daily D – Isaiah 61:1-3

Isaiah 61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.”

Daily D – Isaiah 60:19-22

Isaiah 60:19-22 The sun will no more be your light by day,
nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the LORD will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.
Your sun will never set again,
and your moon will wane no more;
the LORD will be your everlasting light,
and your days of sorrow will end.
Then all your people will be righteous
and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
the work of my hands,
for the display of my splendor.
The least of you will become a thousand,
the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the LORD;
in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Daily D – Proverbs 18:22

Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord.

Daily D – Isaiah 55:6-7

Isaiah 55:6, 7 “Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”

Daily D – Isaiah 48:17-18

Isaiah 48:17, 18 This is what the LORD says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the LORD your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.
If only you had paid attention to my commands,
your peace would have been like a river,
your well-being like the waves of the sea.”
