Isaiah 43:1, 2
But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.”(NIV)

“I, even I, am the LORD,
and apart from me there is no savior.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“I am the LORD, your Holy One,
Israel’s Creator, your King.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This is what the LORD says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God is our Creator, Redeemer, Provider, and Protector.

God is Rescuer, Savior, Holy One, Spiritual Sherpa, Way Maker, and Innovator.

God is anything but boring.

God is everything we need and more than we knew we wanted.

Which of these descriptions of God’s nature do you need to lean into most today?

Looking back on your life, you may be able to identify times when He was with you in the deep waters. He was with you in the fire. He was with you, whatever you faced that you did not think you could survive.

Looking back on your life, you may remember well the moment when you invited Him to come and take up residence in your heart as your only Savior.

Looking back on your life, you may remember that time when you realized He really is King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords. He is in charge here, and we belong to Him.

Looking back on your life, you may remember those times when He made a way when there was no way. He gave you clear direction, even though you didn’t see it at the time.

Looking back on your life, you may remember those times when he closed a door that you could not open, but he opened a door that was better than anything you had planned for yourself.

This is our God.

If you cannot look back and see those realities, then you have so much to look forward to.

Turn to him when you find yourself in deep water.

Depend on him when it seems like the whole world is burning down around you.

Trust him to be your only Savior.

Exalt him as King of your life.

Ask him to make a way forward for you.
Thank him for closing doors you did not need to walk through, and give him the key to your life so He can lead you in any direction He so chooses.

Know God as your Creator, Redeemer, Provider, and Protector.

Experience God as your Rescuer, Savior, Holy One, Spiritual Sherpa, Way Maker, and Innovator.

Welcome to the good life!

I will trust God in every eventuality of my life, knowing that He is more than adequate for anything I will ever face.

Our Father, what more could I want than who you are? What more can I need than you provide? Forgive me for not knowing you better than I do. Deepen my walk with you. I want to know your heart. I want to know your mind. I want to see your hands at work in this world and join you in what you are doing as you replace ashes with beauty and sorrow with joy. Amen.

Daily D – Isaiah 61:1-3

Isaiah 61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.”

Daily D – Isaiah 60:19-22

Isaiah 60:19-22 The sun will no more be your light by day,
nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the LORD will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.
Your sun will never set again,
and your moon will wane no more;
the LORD will be your everlasting light,
and your days of sorrow will end.
Then all your people will be righteous
and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
the work of my hands,
for the display of my splendor.
The least of you will become a thousand,
the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the LORD;
in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Daily D – Proverbs 18:22

Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord.

Daily D – Isaiah 55:6-7

Isaiah 55:6, 7 “Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”

Daily D – Isaiah 49:15-16

Isaiah 49:15, 16 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.”
