Isaiah 41:10
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” (NLT)

Isaiah 41:13
“For I hold you by your right hand—
I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” (NLT)

Here’s what you need to know today. God says,

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Furthermore, he says,

“For I hold you by your right hand—
I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.”

Why is memorizing Bible verses so important?

Because there are some truths too important to forget.

Among those truths we need to stand on and live by are these:

* God is bigger than anything we fear.
* God is with us always.
* God provides courage for whatever we face.
* God strengthens us for every challenge.
* God is our helper in every matter that honors him and serves others.
* God holds us in the grip of his grace.
* God reminds us as often as necessary not to fear anything.
* God reminds us as often as necessary that he his here to help us.

That’s why we memorize God’s Word. By it we know his truth, his will, his ways, his purpose, and our best possible outcome in all things at all times.

I will hold God’s words in my heart that I may know his heart, his mind, his will, and his ways.

Our Father, empower me to commit your words of truth and life to memory that I may be strengthened and encouraged in everything. Amen.

Daily D – Psalm 113:3

Psalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the LORD is to be praised.

Daily D – Psalm 112:4-5

Psalm 112:4, 5
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,
for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice.

Daily D – Isaiah 6:1-7

Isaiah 6:1-7 “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”

At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Daily D – Isaiah 1:18

Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.”

Daily D – 2 Kings 25:27-30

2 Kings 25:27-30 In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the year Awel-Marduk became king of Babylon, he released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison. He did this on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month. He spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat of honor higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon. So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes and for the rest of his life ate regularly at the king’s table. Day by day the king gave Jehoiachin a regular allowance as long as he lived.
