2 Kings 4:2  Elisha asked her, “What can I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She said, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.” (CSB)

“What do you have in your house?”

God can do more with our meager resources than we could do with Taylor Swift’s billions.

A jar of oil became a gusher. Its multiplication saved a widow from losing her sons as payment for debt.

Moses had a staff that God turned into a snake and used to bring water from a rock.

David had a sling and five smooth stones with which he took out a giant.

A little boy’s lunch fed five thousand men and the women and children with them.

What do you have?

If you know Jesus as your savior, you have everything you need. When David the Shepherd Boy became David the King, he wrote some of the most treasured words ever:

The LORD is my shepherd;
I have what I need.“
(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬ ‭CSB‬‬)

We do not need more oil, gold, tasty snacks, or better weapons.

We need more Jesus.

More Jesus, please.

I will trust Jesus to provide what I need when I need it.

Our Father, you provide all I need. I trust you to maximize whatever you place in my hands. Amen.

Daily D – Ezekiel 18:30-32

Ezekiel 18:30-32 “Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you! Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!”

Daily D – Ezekiel 11:19-20

Ezekiel 11:19, 20 “And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.”

Daily D – Ezekiel 3:10-11

Ezekiel 3:10, 11 `Then he added, “Son of man, let all my words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself. Then go to your people in exile and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says!’ Do this whether they listen to you or not.”
