1 Samuel 16:7  But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or his stature because I have rejected him. Humans do not see what the Lord sees, for humans see what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.” (CSB)

David the Shepherd Boy was valiant. His God-confidence separated him from his brothers, his peers, Israel’s warriors, and King Saul the Tall himself. David was brave, bold, and courageous. His heroic heart made him more powerful than his nine-foot-tall adversary. (Read chapter 17 for the details.)

David was bigger on the inside than Goliath was on the outside.

What kind of heart does God see in you?

How big are you on the inside?

What can God do with Little Old You?

I will seek to live valiantly.

Our Father, you see what is in me. You know all I can be. Keep your mighty hand upon me. Use me to help others see just how good you can be. Amen.
