Psalm 56:3  When I am afraid, I will trust in you. (CSB)

Some of the most powerful truths are simply stated, like this one: “When I am afraid, I will trust in you.”

This one is easy to memorize. Memorize it. It will come in handy.

Adversaries new and old pop up from time to time like monsters in video games. You can pop ‘em and put ‘em to rest with this gentle reminder for our timid souls.

When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

It’s so simple you can say it in a breath.

It’s so flexible that you can apply it to any situation.

It’s so reliable that you can trust God to honor your faith every time.

Why complicate life? Keep it simple with this purposeful prayer.

When I am afraid, I will trust in you.

I will trust God when adversaries and adverse conditions arise.

Our Father, up popped a problem this morning. I trust you to solve it. Rather than listening to fear, I will lean on you. Amen.

Ezekiel 18:30-32 “Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you! Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!”

Daily D – Ezekiel 11:19-20

Ezekiel 11:19, 20 “And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.”
