Galatians 1:15, 16  “But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being.” (NLT)

There have been a few times in my life when people have asked me, “Why are you here?” Sometimes this is a hard question to answer. The difficulty may be about the place, the people, or the purpose.

The Apostle Paul knew God knew him from eternity past. He had a plan and a purpose for Paul’s life before he was born. When Paul ventured out on his own road thinking it was God’s path for him, God stopped him and redirected him.

Mary, the mother of Jesus, discovered her life call in an announcement from on high. She had questions. God had answers. She said, “Yes.”

What’s your life call?

Do you require assurance of God’s direction? Redirection from your current trajectory? Or do you need to receive his offer of a life of meaning and purpose so that you get started on the right path?

He chooses you. He has a purpose for you. Your life is not anonymous. It is not meaningless. What are you most passionate about? What are your strongest strengths? Where do you have influence? The answers to these questions help provide clarity regarding what God shaped you to accomplish by his grace, in his strength, so that people can see how good he is.

Simple prayers and wise guidance can get us moving in the right direction. Pray like this: “Our Father, I want to know and experience you. I want to live out the purpose you created me for. Show me the way I should go.”

Find some path leaders who understand the process of clarifying your call. Your best life awaits.

I will continually clarify God’s call for my life.

Our Father, I want to know and experience you. I want to live out the purpose you created me for. Show me the way I should go. Lead me step by step today. Open my eyes that I may see what you want to show me. Empower me to accomplish the work you set before me. Make me gracious and kind to everyone I meet. Amen.

Daily D – Psalm 141:3-4

Psalm 141:3, 4
“Take control of what I say, O LORD,
and guard my lips.
Don’t let me drift toward evil
or take part in acts of wickedness.
Don’t let me share in the delicacies
of those who do wrong.”

Daily D – Jeremiah 32:38-41

Jeremiah 32:38-41 “They will be my people, and I will be their God. And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me. I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.”

Daily D – Jeremiah 29:11-14

Jeremiah 29:11-14 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

Daily D – Psalm 138:1-3

Psalm 138:1-3
“I give you thanks, O LORD, with all my heart;
I will sing your praises before the gods.
I bow before your holy Temple as I worship.
I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness;
for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name.
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength.”

Daily D – Jeremiah 23:18

Jeremiah 23:18 “Have any of these prophets been in the Lord’s presence to hear what he is really saying? Has even one of them cared enough to listen?”
