Galatians 5:25
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (NIV)

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (NLT)

Galatians 5:25-26 Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original. (MSG)

A person who follows Jesus should follow his leadership in every area of life. This is how to live a life better than you dreamed possible.

Keeping in step with Jesus empowers us to see people, places, and things differently. This enhanced sight leads to improved understanding. This improved understanding leads to maximized engagement. This maximized engagement leads to systemic redemption.

Following Jesus is more than a good idea, it is a good life. It is the best life. It is the most fruitful and effective life possible.

How will you follow Jesus where you live, work, and play?

How will you keep in step with Jesus wherever you go, whatever you do today?

How will you live as if Jesus is living through you (Galatians 2:20)?

Our Father, I want to keep in step with your plans and purpose for me. I want to live a fruitful and effective life. I want to live at the impulse of your love. Amen.

who conduct their affairs with justice.

Daily D – Isaiah 6:1-7

Isaiah 6:1-7 “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”

At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.”

Daily D – 2 Kings 25:27-30

2 Kings 25:27-30 In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the year Awel-Marduk became king of Babylon, he released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison. He did this on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month. He spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat of honor higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon. So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes and for the rest of his life ate regularly at the king’s table. Day by day the king gave Jehoiachin a regular allowance as long as he lived.
